EASTER BUNDLE

Rabbit, Chick, Carrot

Bunny:

Apply pattern to doubled muslin. You will need to make a small cut on the bunny in the back. This allows you to sew all the way around the bunny and then stuff from the back. You will then stitch close after finished stuffing. Make sure you stuff very, very firm. If you don't want to see your seam that you closed up make the hole near the neck and tie some homespun around it.  Stain when finished. Bunny will be 7" tall.

Chick:

Apply pattern to doubled muslin. You will need to make a small cut on the chick in the back. This allows you to sew all the way around the body and then stuff from the back. You will then stitch close after finished stuffing. Make sure you stuff very, very firm. I used mustard and white acrylic paint. I painted then sanded. Then add black beads for eyes and use some black embroidery thread for the nose and facial features. Stain when finished. Chickie will be 4 1/2" tall.

Carrot:

Apply pattern to doubled fabric. Sew all the way around the carrot leaving the top open. Stuff the carrot and then fold the top of the carrot in. Take some thread and make a running stitch all the way around the carrot top. Then add a few strands of TORN green homespun and stuff them into the top of the carrot. Now you can PULL the string tight and that will trap all the homespun and stuffing inside. Stain when finished. Carrot will be 7" long.
