Hanging Kitty Ornie Pattern
This project is pretty much easy to follow. All you will need to do is cut out the pattern pieces that I have provided. There are 2 pieces. The head and the body. Place them on doubled muslin cut and then sew. You will need to make a small slit near where the head is going to be placed. You will stuff from that point then sew it close. Then you will need to cut and sew the head and make a slit in the back so you can stuff. Then sew close. Next you will need to sew on the face with embroidery thread. Then you can attached the head and the body together where you have made your previous closures. Then you will need to paint the cat any color you choose. After the ornie has dried you can then tea/coffee stain the ornie.
TIP: You can tie a bow from homespun fabric and place it around the cats neck.
Tea/Coffee Stain:
I use 1 / 2 cup of instant coffee 1/2 hot hot water.
