FREE Bear Tree Lodge Pattern 2007

This is an easy pattern to do. I am sure with your creativity you could even spruce it up a bit. All you will need to do is cut out the pattern pieces that I have provided. The trees I have made from muslin. I just cut 2 pieces of muslin with my tree pattern. I made a small slit near the trunk of the tree. After I sewed all the way around the tree I used that small slit to stuff. I then stitched the hole closed by hand. I painted the tree green and the trunk brown with acrylic paints. I then sanded them by hand and then stained and let dry. I did the same with the bears. I made the slit in the back of the bear.  After I stuffed the bears I stitched on the facial features then painted the ears. Then I stained and let dry.
