Spool and Stars Craft Project
This project is pretty much easy to follow. All you will need to do is buy or make some precut wood stars. You can find the spools/stars at your local craft stores.
Paint them several different colors. Then take some muslin and cut out strips for the spools and trace your stars on muslin and cut them out. Then just stitch on your favorite sayings and coffee/tea stain. After they have finished drying you can then glue them on the wood. You can find a glue/sealer all combined in one at your local craft stores. Then you can add some glass glitter or just leave plain.
Tea/Coffee Stain:
I use 1 / 4 cup of instant coffee 1/4 hot hot water.
Items needed to make this project:
Muslin – 1/4 yard
Your choice of Embroidery Thread
Wood Stars or Spools
Your choice of Acrylic Paints
Instant Tea/coffee
Basic Sewing & Painting Supplies
